Wheel of Life

5 min read

Definition

Wheel of Life is a coaching reflection tool, often shown as a circle with six to ten life-area segments. You rate your own satisfaction, commonly on a one-to-ten scale, to create a personal picture. The ratings are subjective, not a validated health assessment.

Practical tip
If useful, repeat the reflection at a regular interval such as monthly. Compare ratings alongside your circumstances and actions: changed numbers do not prove objective progress. Automatic Pulse Score calculation is not promised here.

How to use it

  1. Choose six to ten life areas that matter to you
  2. Rate your satisfaction with each from one to ten
  3. Draw or generate a chart
  4. Notice the largest gaps between your current and desired situation
  5. Choose goals for two or three priority areas
  6. Repeat the reflection monthly if useful
