API and MCP and Sinqly: capabilities and limitations

Current status: Compatibility needs checking

Sinqly API and MCP: configure access to selected projects and check client compatibility.

Limitations

MCP provides access configuration for selected projects. Operation of the published server with a particular client is unconfirmed and needs a separate check; arbitrary API keys and access to all data are not promised.

Check the connection

MCP configuration provides OAuth/PKCE authorization and selection of your own projects (from 1 to 50). Six task and project tools and access revocation are provided. Copying the address does not confirm a connection, and a successful connection does not mean continuous synchronization.

  1. Sign in to Sinqly and open the MCP setup page.
  2. Check server availability and client support, and select only the own projects you need.
  3. Confirm authorization and check the connection separately; revoke access when it is no longer needed.

Check MCP setup conditions

Workspace pages require sign-in. Following a link does not itself connect an external service or grant access to data.

Frequently asked questions

Can I treat the external service as already connected?

No. Check the connection conditions and outcome separately. MCP provides access configuration for selected projects. Operation of the published server with a particular client is unconfirmed and needs a separate check; arbitrary API keys and access to all data are not promised.

How can I start safely?

Start with a small set of your own data and check the result. Keep originals, grant only necessary permissions and do not pass secrets to unverified commands.
